Background

We operate door to door transport services in the Brisbane South and Logan areas, using contracted taxis, buses and our own fleet of vehicles. These services are shared and prebooked, operating Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. There is a cost which varies depending on the run/distance.

Our transport services include :-

Medically related transport
Shopping
Social and Social Support

Our transport services are available to HACC eligible clients who :-

Have difficulty getting to shops, health and other services in their community because they no longer drive or cannot safely use public transport
Are able to travel independently or with their carer
Have few or no other options for assistance with transport
Can travel in shared transport with others

When certain destinations are not serviced, we may be able to provide other types of assistance.

We also provide different types of assistance to other agencies operating in the Brisbane South/Logan areas to transport their clients.

Information and referrral services
Brokerage to other agencies using:
- Taxi vouchers
- Mileage reimbursements
- Group bookings
Individual taxi vouchers
Transport services, door to door, comprising of:
- Scheduled services using:
  - Taxi's
  - Buses
- Scheduled services using:
  - Volunteers
    - In their own vehicles
    - In fleet vehicles with and without disability accessibility
  - Professional drivers in fleet vehicles with disability accessibility
  - Fully escorted transport services
